I'm a passionate birth doula
Firstly, I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you for your time, interest, and consideration of my support to serve you as your doula. I'm Amanda Kelly and like so many others called to this kind of work, it is almost impossible to separate my own deeply personal, lived experiences from wanting to support, nurture and walk along side others as they navigate their own path through similar experiences. After the birth of my first baby, the seed was planted. I knew I wanted to experience birth in some capacity for the rest of my life.

My story
I will never forget the birth of my son either! I gave birth to him in the hospital yet the experience was undisturbed and completely ours thanks to my birth team. The home birth of my dynamic, beaming, fearless daughter (pictured here) though was both a pivotal and healing experience for me. Her birth reflected who I was, where I was and what I thought about life and birth. My daughter's birth cemented my knowledge that birth does not need to be feared and that intentional preparation for birth and the postpartum period is invaluable.
